Once you decide on the Chinese Crested puppy for you and your family, you must prepare mentally for the new addition. Once you adopt a puppy from a Chinese Crested breeder, the first few weeks will require a lot of your time. Your Chinese Crested puppy will need constant attention and care. You must remember to have some patience and take everything one step at a time. Here are a few things that you will need to have before your new Chinese Crested puppy arrives home; a wire or plastic dog crate, bedding for the crate that is machine washable as well and thick for your Chinese Crested puppy's comfort, also you will need to pick up stainless steal dishes one for water and one for dry food, a puppy collar with leash, ID tag with your information in case your Chinese Crested puppy ever wanders off, a few high quality chew toys, grooming supplies such as a comb or brush, premium dry puppy food, a baby gate for blocking areas that you do not wish for the puppy to go into, and information on ways to train your new Chinese Crested puppy.
After a week or two you will know what to expect and your Chinese Crested puppy will begin to become more acclimated to your home and the new environment. You and your new Chinese Crested puppy will have a wonderful time learning together!
